How We Help

Real support for families
navigating real situations.

Everything begins with a free 30-minute investigation call — usually the same day or the next. We work virtually, so we can start wherever your family is, and we come in person across Chicagoland for the moments that need someone in the room.

Every path starts with the same first step.

Before anything else, we want to talk with you. A free 30-minute investigation call lets us understand what your family is navigating, answer your questions honestly, and determine together what kind of support would actually help. It happens by phone or video, usually the same day or the next. No sales pitch. No commitment required. Just a real conversation.

Schedule Free Call

Help today, from wherever you are — and in the room when it counts.

Every service is delivered virtually, so we can start the same week no matter where you or your parent live. Out of state? That is who we are built for. And across Chicagoland, an In-Person Day can be added to any engagement for the five moments that are hard to do through a screen: discharge day, a home safety walkthrough, the first day of a new caregiver, a family meeting that has to happen in a room, and a decline nobody can quite describe over the phone.

How Payment Works

Nothing is charged before the work is done.

1 · We talk, for free.

The 30-minute investigation call costs nothing and requires no card. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you that on the call.

2 · You get it in writing, then save a card.

If you decide to move forward, we send a short agreement with the exact scope and price, and a secure link to put a card on file. Saving a card does not charge it. Payment details are handled by Square — Gilt never sees or stores your card number.

3 · We do the work. Then we bill you.

You are told the amount and what it is for before any charge is made, and you receive a receipt afterward. You can remove your card at any time by emailing support@giltcp.com.

Common Questions

What families ask most.

Do I have to pay anything before the first call?

No. The 30-minute investigation call is completely free and requires no card. Even after that, nothing is charged until the work is agreed in writing and delivered. There is no pressure and no obligation.

Can you really help if you are not in the room?

Yes — most of this work is coordination, and coordination happens on the phone and on paper. The Stabilization Evaluation is conducted over secure video with a camera walkthrough of the home, which means we can start this week no matter where you live. When a situation genuinely needs someone physically present, an In-Person Day can be added across Chicagoland.

I live in another state from my parent. Does that make this harder?

No. It is the most common situation we work in. Because everything is virtual by default, you, your parent, and a sibling in a third city can all be on the same call, looking at the same plan. Distance caregiving is the exact problem this was built to solve.

How does payment actually work?

After the free call, if you choose to move forward, you receive a written agreement and a secure link to save a card. Nothing is charged when you save it. We complete the work, tell you the amount before charging, and send a receipt after. Payments are processed by Square.

Is this the same as a home health aide or a nurse?

No. We provide the operational and coordination layer that sits around clinical care. The planning, the logistics, the home setup, the family alignment, and the ongoing navigation that medical staff do not have time for and families do not know how to do.

Do you give medical advice?

No. We translate medical instructions into practical daily systems. We work alongside your medical team, never in place of them.

Can you help if the situation is urgent?

Yes. Email support@giltcp.com directly and we will respond the same day — within the hour if you are in a hospital or facing a discharge. Because the call is virtual, it can usually happen the same day or the next.

What happens after an engagement ends?

You keep everything we build together. The care plan, the vendor contacts, the documented routines. Many families transition into Monthly Navigation when the acute phase has passed. There is no pressure to continue and no penalty for stopping.

The first conversation is free.

Tell us what your family is navigating. By phone or video, usually the same day. No commitment, no cost, no card, no pitch.
